Forever21 – 10 Essential Accessories to Separate You From – BASIC Babes

Forever21 freakin’ rules. Sure, Zara, H&M, Urban Outfitters, and American Eagle have their own fashion lane, but we can all agree upon how appropriate the Forever21 name is (and nope, it’s not because we’re all desperados, wanting to forever remain 21 years old). It’s because Forever21 customers are ride-or-die. Shop there once and you’ll find yourself suddenly drawn to the place, and the next thing you know, you’re hitting those style accessories and fashion clothing racks (in person or online) again and again. We don’t even care if there isn’t a Forever21 coupon right? The shopping deals are that insane. And while I’m on the subject, can Cityrocka Perry also give out retailer props for their incredibly expansive inventory? Oh, and in spite of what you may be thinking, this isn’t a sponsored post, not by any means. IJS, the amount of times that I see Forever21 on my debit card statement is proof that I have a weakness for the frequency and wide selection of their endless new arrivals. And I know that I’m not alone….

Differentiating Yourself  –  Are You a BASIC BABE?

Basic Babes are random. They’ll arbitrarily pick up any old trinket, shoes, clothing, or bag, just on the strength of the low price tag. But NO ONE who reads ANYTHING on this particular style accessories blog can be labeled a BASIC. We are all extra SUPERB, and extra Phenomenal. And just to make sure that you’re completely on board with the #nobasicbabe movement, double check by reviewing my Forever21 10 Essential Accessories List. What Cityrocka hates to break to those of you who don’t own the below pivotal items of the season, is that you might be about as BASIC BABE as they come. But have no fear, because this blogger is officially stepping in to save the day. Just call me Captain Save-a-Basic-Babe.

1 – An “IT” Bag –  Notice how I didn’t specify which one, but here’s a hint; mini satchel bags and bucket bags. Either one is your cool girl/guy approval card. Go on, you can Gossip-Girl hang out with Serena Van der Woodsen now.

2 – Fashionable Flats –  I bet that you think that Cityrocka Perry is going to suggest that you run out and get a classic ballerina flat. So, so, wrong my F21 Besties. It’s high time that you tried out a pointed loafer—in metallic. Stand out from the rest.

3 – Sunnies  –  Shade, but no shade for those of you with a loyalty to the plain aviators. They’re great and all, but how about you go a cat eye here, or a style that’s a bit more grandiose and bold?

4 – Beach Slides – with the warm season about to get hotter, at some point you’re going to want to hit the beach. Toss the old flip flops and trade up for a pair of stylish slides. You’ll probably want to to ear them even when you’re not walking across sand.

5 – Layered Necklace – No, statement necklaces aren’t out of fashion, but there are those times when simplicity rules.  Remember, Basic Babes are the only ones who ALWAYS do the easily obvious.

6 – A fantastic Sandal with a Heel – Keep it alluring, stacked or wedge will work. The right strappy sandal will give you life, and besides that, it’s cause for you to show off that new pedicure.

7 – A Terrific Bangle or Cuff – Wonder Woman was really onto something when she slipped into her costume, but it just wouldn’t have the same flair without her fab wrist accessories. Give people something to talk about. Go with a square shaped bracelet, or one or more that’s brightly colored.

8 – Tribal Necklace – It’s not exactly the same as a statement necklace. A Tribal necklace is more earthy. It reads as that you’re totally cultured and hip.

9 – Ear Jacket Earrings – Why wouldn’t you want to look cool? There are so many designs, it’s bound to be a real conversation starter, and it’s jewelry that’s out of the ordinary.

10 – Geo Rings Set – Geometric rings—you just have to get them. They make it seem as though you put lots of thought into your accessories style game when really, all you did was slip them on. And it’s a Kardashian favorite trend.
