Roopal Patel Named Fashion Director at Saks

Saks Fifth Avenue has appointed Roopal Patel its fashion director.

Patel was most recently the executive fashion director of luxury fashion online retailer Moda Operandi. She spent more than a decade at Neiman Marcus, where she was the senior accessory market editor. She also served as the senior fashion director of Bergdorf Goodman. In 2012, Patel founded Roopal Patel Consulting, a creative consulting firm specializing in brand development, merchandising retail strategy, and trend forecasting. Patel will report to Saks’ chief merchant Tracy Margolies.

Saks Fifth Avenue has appointed Roopal Patel as its fashion director.
